Do a preliminary gutters cleanup
Remove the twigs, leaves and other debris that are inside the gutters. Check the damage and try to determine what the cause was.

For cleaning you should have the following supplies: mask, gloves, hard bristle brush and cleaning solution such as an oven cleaner, a gutter cleaner or baking soda.

Preparation:
Wet the soil and plants below, then cover them with a cloth. Also wet sides of the house.

Brushed:
Apply the cleaners as instructed, then brush. After brushing, wash the gutters and the same with the house.

Final wash:
Wash the grass and walls once more.
